The JMD-18 Mill/Drill with R-8 taper by JET® offers a lightweight choice to traditional milling machines. These devices feature a belt-driven drill press and are equipped with dual-coordinate functions typical of milling machines, achieving efficient, flexible operation. The Jet JMD-18 Mill/Drill with R-8 taper is constructed with a cast-iron column made from a single piece for additional stability and support. A belt cover combined with a slide latch allows for fast belt adjustments when changing spindle speeds. The drill press angle vise holds securely, and the 360-degree swivel with added lamp make safe operation easy and well-lit. The unit has a heavy-duty powered downfeed and a manual fine feed system. A draw bar is also featured, as well as a guard for the drill chuck, for additional safety.
